From Points West (Route 30, aka Commonwealth Avenue in Newton & Boston):

Follow Route 30 from Framingham or Wayland until you reach I-95 (Rte 128). Continue on Route 30 for about 4 miles, crossing over the Mass Turnpike, through the intersection with Route 16, pass Newton City Hall and past the intersection with Walnut Street. The next Major intersection after Walnut Street is Centre Street. Turn left on Centre Street, and continue for 3/10s of a mile to BC’s Newton Campus on your left (across the street from the historic East Parish Burying Grounds).

From Downtown Boston / Logan Airport:

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. Take a left over the bridge after passing the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Take the first right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street for about 1 mile to BC’s Newton Campus on your right (across the street from the historic East Parish Burying Grounds).

Parking

As you enter the Newton campus, proceed past the guard house about 75 yards and turn right. Go down the hill ~130 yards, taking the next left. The main parking area for the summer is at the end of the lane, on the left.  You may also park  in the other parking lot on the right near the athletic fields, as indicated on the map with P. The path up to the law school is at the southeast corner of the main parking lot where there will be signs directing you to the conference venue, East Wing 200 (EW 200). The parking lot is no more than a 5 minute walk from the room. The map shows the driving route to the parking lot (green dot-dashes) and path to EW 200 (red dashes).

Public Transportation

Newton Centre T stop to BC Law School

Public transit in the Boston area is via the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA or simply “the T”). The BC Law School can be reached via MBTA Bus_route #52, with a bus stop outside the main entrance to the Newton campus. Alternatively, the Green Line, D line trolley stops at Newton Centre, about a 20-25 minute walk down Centre Street or a 5 minute bus ride on the #52 bus. The bus runs roughly every 30-45 minutes.

Walking from the Crowne Plaza

Turn left out of the hotel & go down a set of stairs to the crosswalk on Washington St. (note that for some reason, Google will send you through the parking structure to the right & make you go in a large loop to get this same point). Use the crosswalk to get to Centre St. Proceed south on Centre St. for just over 1 mile (~20-25 minute walk). The pedestrian entrance is just past the main (driving) entrance. Follow the sidewalk counterclockwise around the law library (red dots on the map), then follow the signs to EW 200.
